But, there is little more to say about choosing a free blogging platform. I am writing this post to clarify about wordpress a bit more for those who lean towards professionalism of blogging from very begining.

To start with lets talk about wordpress.com the free blogging service available online. This is one of the best platform available to those who are looking at the SEO aspect and other technical support of blogging.

While you are signing up for an account in wordpress.com you can choose your own languages. Wordpress support about more than 50 international languages. You just have to select from the language drop down menu of the list.

If you are new to wordpress.com and don’t want english language then just click on this dropdown menu below Sign-up button to select language. If you are not getting it from the dropdown then select the last option “More Languages” option from the dropdown. You will be soon taken to a page with lots of International language options.

Now if you are using your own self hosted domain with wordpress installed in it then you have to install pluggins for different language support other than default English. But don’t get panic for that. There are very little steps to follow for that installation.
Presently I am using Wordpress version – 2.8.3 where adding up the desired language pluggin is more easy. But if you are not using this version, I will discuss that a little later below.

Add new Plugins
Now click on Add New. You will soon taken to Install plugin page where ou will get a search box to search the desired plugin. Enter the keyword and search it.

Now enter the keyword for the language plugin you are searching for and press enter or click Search Plugins. This will soon take you to the page where lots of plugins related to your search will be available. If you will not find it there, just search it again on the same page. If you will get your desired wordpress plugin, then click on the install link to the extreme right of that plugin.

Thats all. You have successfully installed the language plugin. Activate the plugin option available soon after installation or you can activate it later from Plugins option in the admin panel. Select the newely installed deactive plugin. Click on Activate.

Now, when you have activate the WP plugin, it will start working properly. But some installed activated plugins required settings to be done. Just go to the setting section and select the plugin to make require settings.

If you are not using the 2.8 onward version of WP, still you can search and install plugins with the help of FTP or personal domain Cpanel on self hosted WP blogs.
Go to Wordpress.org. You will find the Extend tab there. Click on that tab. You will be taken to the page contains link of WP Plugins Directory.

Click on that WP Plugins Directory link. This will take you to the search box page where you have to search the plugin.

The rest is almost same as previous. The only difference is that you will get the download plugin button after getting the plugin. The all you need to do is just download the plugin available in the .zip or .rar format. Extract it in your local PC and upload the WP plugin through FTP or Cpanel in the /wp-content/plugins directory of public Html. Now come back to your wordpress admin, activate and make settings if required.
